Quick change with Concetti IGF for BOCM Pauls.
02.12.08
BOCM Pauls, the UK’s leading producer of animal feedstuffs is installing a Concetti IGF 900 automatic bag filling and closing unit at their plant in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
The IGF™ will pack 25kg paper and PE bags with the complete range of pellet and meal products made at the mill.
Product changeover on the IGF can be made in less than 90 seconds from the operator’s control panel. The line is automatically set with the correct bag weight, belt feeder bed depth and speed, sealing conveyor height, magazine back stop position, bag centering guide and even the closure method. All the operator needs to do is load the bag magazine and press start! What could be easier?
Also, the IGF controller is linked to BOCM Pauls’ mill computer system so the correct programme is automatically selected according to the product in the packing bin, further simplifying the operator’s task.
IGF lines from Concetti provide the ultimate in flexibility and are perfect for applications with short job runs, minimising changeover time but always ensuring the line is perfectly set.
The unit will be installed in January 2009.
Hanson Packed Products choose Concetti again.

Concetti are installing a Continua™ Form, Fill, and Seal machine at the Wrotham, Kent plant of Hanson Packed Products. The unit will be used to pack block-paving sand into 25kg sacks at a rate of 1200 bags/hr using the existing weighers and palletiser.
This unit brings the number of Concetti Continua machines being used by Hanson Packed Products to four and follows highly successful installations at Nuneaton and Wrexham.
The Continua is equipped with a servo assisted reel lifter, wear resistant lining inside the bag spout, refrigerated cooling of the bottom seal, air blast cleaning of the top seal and all the usual features that give Concetti machines such an enviable reputation for reliability even in the most rugged applications.
The unit will be installed and commissioned during January 2009.
